WELCOME TO DATA DESIGN

Data Design provides teletext solutions for the broadcasting industry.

We have worked on projects with many leading television channels including Europe's leading business and financial news television channel, CNBC Europe, the premier horseracing channel, Racing UK, and Setanta Ireland, the country's only dedicated sports broadcaster.

At the heart of our production set-up is a fully-featured teletext content management and transmission system, well suited to automated publishing and providing a selection of interfaces for the supply of externally generated content (e.g. stocks and shares prices, live betting information, up-to-the minute news).

Data Design re-launches Setanta Ireland's teletext service

We have re-launched the Sportstel teletext service on behalf of Setanta Ireland, the country's only dedicated sports broadcaster. Sportstel complements the programme output by providing the latest news on all major sports, as well as programme listings and price information from many leading bookmakers.

Data Design creates the teletext service for Racing UK

Simon Bazalgette, Executive Chairman of Racing UK said, "The text service allows us to expand the range of information viewers can access during broadcasts, and is also there to provide news and programming schedules. We will be continuing to develop the content with our commercial partners and creating further opportunities for them to interact with our subscribers."

Traditional (analogue) teletext services are provided by most European television channels and used by millions of people daily.

Analogue services are easily adapted for digital platforms, including Sky and Virgin Media.
